The Visual & Audio Collection and Exploration of Myself and My Environment

Machine-Elf became my visual creation in 1998 for a place for my artistic development as a digital artist as well as my musical exploration of IDM, Goa, and Psy Trance. Using my love for the obscure and interest in electronic development within the music and visual art realms, I started highlighting my time with sharpening my skills and abilities as a DJ, promoter, and deco artist in and throughout the Texas trance and burner communities with such collectives as Texaliens, Shiva Shakti, UMP, Mistical Productions, Atrium Obscurum, and Last Laugh.

Now, based in Seattle, WA, I have found myself redefining my identity under the French chill psyambient label Ultimae as a chill DJ and promoter, and helping uncover the hidden aspect of what downtempo/chill parties are like.  I also work with Molecular and Chillography in creations and designs as well as aural structure.

My art that I have here is my work spanning 2002 to today. Fractals have always held a fascination to me and I enjoy seeing what I can bring to life with them. Some of my images found their way into flyers for various events that I have connections with, and vise versa. I have always enjoyed creating flyer art for parties. It allowed me to be a part of the event and create something that people can keep, a visual token of the event. Party flyer art has been a huge passion of mine since 1992, and I have always found that the more love and energy the promoters added to the art, the better the event ended up being.

My mixes I have here span almost as long as the flyer creation. Most mixes are reflections of specific periods in my life, almost telling a story of what I was experiencing at that point. I totally respect the labels and artists who create such beautiful projects...they have painted my life on so many levels and I am in awe half the time by what they create.

Last of all, this site is dedicated to my friends and family that are around me, have supported me, loved me, and cherished the moments that we have created in spaces that no longer exist but in our hearts and minds. Having the ability and fortune to have done and seen the things I have, all I can say is that I am a lucky individual...and the people who I surround myself with is nothing short of amazing. Thank you.
